The Middle School signifies an important stage in students’ life when the transmission from Primary level to High level is made. The middle Switzerland boarding school program aims to prepare children for examinations in High School. Mathematics, science, history, computer classes are all combined with French language studies to make students benefit from studying in Switzerland. The middle school period is very important for the child’s mind development, for this reason, we encourage students to find the particular interest or continue to express their different talents in art, sports, etc.

Middle School Students spend 1575 hours of classes, which is 35 lessons per week. They build a sound academic background for further studies. The middle Switzerland boarding school term provides a great opportunity to learn about the Geneva region, to get acquainted with different cultures and religions within the student body. Field trips and excursions are organized to enhance and illustrate the theoretical knowledge, which is gained during the class hours at school. The students personally experience the courses which are taught in museums, art exhibits and conference halls. We believe that “hands on” policy is one of the best ways to learn about certain subjects.

Grade 6

Students have to find their way around the campus for a number of their lessons. The independence is developed.

The perfection of our programs come form constant revision and improvement. Middle School program is reviewed every year by the specially appointed Faculty Committee. The Committee obliges teachers to reflect recent educational methods and integrates IT into the studying process. We seek to build children studying skills, to build their character and to diverse assessment practices.
The Middle School could be called Pre-adolescent School, which grants the unique experiences: students learn how to determine their choices and to be more independent. On completion of the Leman College Middle School program it is expected that our students will mature into confident and right-minded personalities.
