Leysin Application Switzerland Boarding School procedures starts with visitation to the school, then documentation and interviews, followed by acceptance and visa issuance. Students are expected to have great academic achievements from previous educational institution. We will be happy to assist you with any aspect of the application process:
1. First stage starts with an arranged visit to the School so the students and parents can see for themselves our large school infrastructure and modern dormitory (students’ house)
2. Second stages require providing documentation: application form; application fee of 100 Euro, 3 recommendations from Math teacher, English teacher and School Headmaster; student passport copy; 1 passport size student photograph; the transcript of last academic year; short questions and essay to the school must be submitted to Leysin Boarding School in the end of this application stage.
3. Third stage is dedicated for the interviews with students. The interviews are held by telephone or personally. The student will meet or speak to admission Committee members to evaluate the applicant academic level and generate general impressions.
4. Fourth stage describes acceptance procedures. Accepted students will receive a package, containing the items: acceptance letter, tuition invoice, enrollment booklet, summer reading task list, orientation information. Written confirmation by parents and payment is required to guarantee student’s place in Leysin School.
5. Fifth stage focuses on visas and which nationality doesn’t require visa and which do and how to get them fast.
6. Sixth stage deal with payments and students pocket money.
