Yearly Tuition Fees are CHF 69,500.-
One-Time Fees
- Application Fee CHF 200.-
- Security Deposit CHF 4'000.-
- Senior Class, PG/13th Grade Surcharge incl. Graduation Fee CHF 1'500.-
One-Semester Tuition (for students attending one semester only) CHF 43,000.-
(all one-time fees are applicable as above)
Tuition Fees include:
- All academic classes, regular instructional and laboratory fees
- Full seven-day room and board
- Liability insurance
- School health plan (Accident and Health insurances, use of school health center)
- Swiss residence permit and communal taxes
- Use of computer network
- Day excursions, social events, banquets, second semester Prom dinner & dance
- Leysin sports center pass, all regular and most special activities
- Regional Ski Pass, group ski / snowboard lessons during winter term
- Team iniforms and entry fees for participants in team sports
- School sponsored excursions (team sports tournaments, faculty-family overnight trips, September weekend, Fall cultural & Spring cultural excursions; N.B. transportation, lodging, meals and museum entrance fees are included)
- Laundry facilities
- Bed linen (Students must provide their own towels.)
Supplementary Costs / Personal Account (managed in Swiss Francs)
A sufficient amount of money must be deposited before the start of the school year. Student's personal expenses must be authorized and covered by parents. Each student should bring a return ticket or equivalent in funds to expedite arrangements at the time of departure. LAS cannot advance credit for personal expenses including travel costs. The recommended minimum is CHF 3'500 and the maximum CHF 8'000.
The list below is not exhaustive. Other costs incurred by the school on behalf of the student or parents will be charged:
- Pocket money, maximum 120 CHF/week;
- Health Plan yearly deductible maximum CHF 200 / year
- Official examinations approximately CHF 1'000 (IB registration, extended essay preparation and external exam fees)
- SAT Preparation Course
- School standardised dress approximately CHF 700
- University/College application fees
- Major purchases/equipment rental approximately CHF 1'000 (ski/snowboarding/mountain bike and equipment hire)
- Campus Store charges (school supplies) recommended CHF 500 / year
- Optional contents insurance
- Communication charges recommended CHF 50-200 / month
