Leysin town is one of the primary alpine resorts in the French speaking part of Switzerland. It is 1:30 min drive from Geneva international airport, and less than an hour drive from Montreux city. Our boarding school location is unique as we are surrounded by the great Alps Mountains.
This Swiss Alps region is famous internationally for its refreshing and sunny climate. The major ski resort consists of over sixty kilometers of downhill and tem kilometers of cross country skiing slopes and trails allowing Leysin to host national and international skiing and snowboarding events. A population of only 3,000 residences is considered to be small enough for our students to be both safe and part of a real society. Leysin world class recreation facilities are at disposal of our students: a full sized year-round ice skating rink, 25 meter semi-Olympic sized swimming pool, fitness center, gymnasium, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, indoor climbing wall and much more.
The town is extremely rich in art. We are provided with opportunities to attend museums, theater, art galleries and international exhibitions, as well as, conferences. Teachers and students enjoy Swiss fondue during the field trips in winter, visits to souvenirs’ shops for small presents and to watch movies in English language cinema. You can reach us in 90 minutes by car from Geneva international airport. The area is connected to Europe’s rail system.
