Students’ reviews

Switzerland boarding school reviews are testimonies written by our students sharing their schooling experiences with potential students, Sara and Bandar Al Tunisi come from Saudi Arabia; they wrote that Leysin Boarding School is a community, where teachers and students think about each other more than of themselves. The siblings came to Switzerland for a better education with the provision of wider choice in the curriculum. Bandar adds that they have chosen Leysin School because of international life opportunity. Sara describes, that her life goal is to become Saudi young lady who goes into the field of engineering. She says that she wants to bring her skills back to Saudi Arabia and make a difference. According to the siblings, Leysin Boarding School has provided them with opportunity to explore more things, both academically and socially.

Norah Masy comes from USA. She has chosen Switzerland Boarding School for its emphasis on charitable services. Our school, above all other schools, put a great effort to help global community in large scale. Leysin was a place for Peace Corp club, Humanity Club, Oxfam club who sent the aid to Afghanistan and Thailand at the time of Norah’s arrival. Student expresses her enjoyment – you can not compare Leysin with other boarding schools in Switzerland! We have learned the balance of academic studies and sport. We have much time to spend in slopes and learn snowboarding. We have invaded the European capital during our cultural visits (from Moscow to Athens, London, and Barcelona).

Guy Alexander Cooper is American born in Switzerland. He was salutatorian in his senior class and appreciates the friendship, he has established during his studies. The multinational spirit, compact size and Alpine setting of Leysin Boarding School have made an influence on his High School selection.
Imane Sidbe, a student from Mali and France conveys her gratitude on multiculturalism and tolerance to different cultures, she has experienced at Leysin Switzerland Boarding School. Imane has arrived to Leysin for IB Diploma program and Ski season. The best thing she has accomplished so far is responsibility, independence and hard work.

Marlon McKinnie, the Canadian resident, describes our Swiss boarding School as a higher education standpoint. He remembers his first class in high school, when students took their seats and the instructor began by outlining what students need to know – giving a brief explanation, advice, and a demonstration of what would be taught for the IB examinations. The students asked questions and the open, vivid discussion had begun. Marlon is studying at American college now. He says that Leysin Boarding School gives a distinctive advantage over freshmen, who have never lived away from home.
